Perceptions of young women in Japan are examined in relation to female self-defense. Several women in Japan were surveyed, with some chosen for interviews. It seemed that self-defense was often connected not to learning assault-prevention techniques but to purchasing self-defense tools. This finding opens two avenues for discussion. First, the marketization of personal safety is explored, as is the genderization of these tools and the subsumption of women's safety into a logic of consumption. Second, the shift from viewing the body as a weapon to viewing the object as one, which projects various forms of subjectification onto women, is discussed. These include the outsourcing of women's agency to an external object. It is concluded that this outsourcing often results in the reinforcement of tropes of fragility and the neutralization of resignifications of the female body that emerges from practitioners who focus on the body as the instrument of self-defense.

Obesity and osteoarthritis of knee joint can limit mobility and function, due to pain and muscular weakness. This non pharmacological treatment where along with weight loss, decrease in waist circumference, strengthening of muscles around hip, knee, abdominal and spinal plays a vital role in the 6 month rehabilitation of this case study subject with improved quality of life as reflected in the Woomac subjective rating score.

There are certain 'hard cases' of weakness of will that seem to occur, indeed to be common, but are very difficult to give a non-paradoxical account of. It is just not clear how they are possible. This paper is largely an attempt to get them in focus. What conditions must such weak-willed actions satisfy? In what sense must they be intentional, for example? And must the weak-willed agent thinks his action objectively worse than some alternative action open to him? And must that alternative action actually be open to him? The paper concludes by considering the condition that a clear case of weakness of will must be in certain sense non-procrastinatory and this turns out to be particularly difficult to satisfy. Other explanations, ones that do not postulate weakness of will (though they may involve paradoxes of their own), always seem to be available.

The objective of this research was designing the student’s sports development strategy in Kermanshah University. The type of this research is a survey which was carried out as field study and analyzed with a descriptive method. The statistical population included managers, experts in physical education and faculty members of Kermanshah University. The sample of research were selected through enumeration answered to 75 questionnaires. The tools for data collection are open and close questionnaires who some professors and experts confirmed the validity of these questionnaires. The reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha with the coefficient of 0.89. As well as interviews with the population of the research took place as much as the saturation comments in order to recognized mission statement, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The obtained information was concluded according to the comments of The Strategic Council 7 strengths 9 weaknesses, 8 opportunities, and 7 ultimate threat. The Kolmogorov - Smirnov test was used to verify the normal distribution of data. To analyze the data, in addition to descriptive indicators of the Friedman test also internal and external assessment matrix was used. According to the final score of 2.79 the matrix of internal factors and the score 2.22 the matrix of external factors and the necessary calculations the strategic position of competitive sport of Kermanshah University was identified. By using analysis matrix of SWOT, the strategies of WT, four strategies of WO, five strategies of ST, five strategies of SO, in total 17 strategies was identified.

The objective of this article is to evaluate recent empirical studies on Arabic language. The problem addressed here is the Phenomenon that big number of Arabic studies do not yield consistent findings. The implied question is "What are Common Weak Points in Arabic Practical Studies and What Should be Done for Correction?" This article is evaluative in nature using the method of "met analysis". It is based on the idea that proper application of research procedures yield consistent information on Arabic language. It critically reviews a number of recent empirical research carried out on Arabic language. The major focuses is on weaknesses of the studies in question. The analysis of the studies involves methods, procedures and findings. Then the article draws an overall conclusion on the reviewed studies. The results of this evaluation show that, there is little empirical research on Arabic language. Some results of Arabic studies do not show significant effects and other findings are not reliable. The studies are still too few to support meaningful conclusions on Arabic language acquisition. Some studies reported findings though they had methodological loopholes. Yet, many researchers of Arabic language do not control extraneous variables that influence their findings. Hence, there has always been unanswered questions about the influence of unstructured language aspects in their findings. Further questions arise about the influence of their research methods on the unstructured language aspects in general. Implications and general remarks are provided and based upon remarkable issues pertaining reviewed methods, procedures and findings.

The main objective of this study was to investigate the viewpoints of graduate students towards strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats underlying the innovation-based approach to arts curricula in higher education. This descriptive survey made use of semi-structured interviews and researcher-made questionnaires in order to collect the required data. The validity of interviews and questionnaires was confirmed by obtaining experts’ opinions and their reliability was determined using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.90). The statistical population was composed of all graduate students at Art University of Isfahan. Then, the stratified random sampling (quantitative) was used in terms of sampling method and the actual process of sampling was undertaken in the format of purposeful sampling method (qualitative). The results indicated that the item “paying attention to lifelong learning in order to keep students up to date” was the most important strength point and the item “inappropriate facilities” was the most important weak point. Besides, it was indicated that the items of “fostering a culture of innovation” and “lack of new and up-to-date knowledge and technology in the country” were the most notable opportunity and threat, respectively.
