Name:
After the Balkarian village Eltyubyu, which is situated near the type locality.
Fe3+ analogue of wadalite. Isostructural with mayenite (chlormayenite).
Fe and Si are disordered over the tetrahedral _T_1 and _T_2 sites (Al-free material from Shadil-Khokh volcano).
