Testibiopalladite (original) (raw)

A valid IMA mineral species

Orginally assumed to be PdTe(Sb,Te).

Colour:

Brownish steel-gray, tarnishes yellow-brown

Name:

The name reflects its compostion: TEllurium, antimony (Latin = "STIBIum"), and PALLADium.

Originally reported from Yangliuping Cu-Ni-(PGE) deposit, Danba Co., Garzê (Ganzi) Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China.

Revalidated in 2023, with the formula PdSbTe.
