This article describes how integrate Java with Microsoft Technology. Sometimes there may be need an application where integrate both technologies. This article describes how to call some Java methods from .NET code, and pass some values to Java or .NET and vice versa. This is a simple ASP.NET application, which interacts with Java Applets while performing another operation. The application is very simple to do, but the main thing behind the scene is the idea and implementation logic.

An aircraft is a complex, inherently multidisciplinary product that requires real time global collaboration
for Design, Manufacture and Service. Digital engineering processes play an intelligent role in product and
process design from concept to retirement, which is around 70 years. The entire engineering data is
hierarchically structured and traced throughout the lifecycle under strict Configuration Control (CC). This
requires an accurate, easily communicable Digital Mock-Up(DMU)as a Virtual 3D-static and dynamic
platform for, real-time concurrent engineering through wide collaboration, a sample of which is presented
herein. Holistically, this requires a networked Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system as an
Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) for engineering (primary and continuous improvement) for life cycle
of the aircraft. The latest feature in PLM is the use of Model Based Engineering.

An aircraft is a complex, multi-disciplinary, system-engineered product that requires real-time global technical collaboration through its life-cycle. Engineering data and processes which form the backbone of the aircraft should be under strict Configuration Control (CC). It should be model-based and allow for 3D visualization and manipulation. This requires accurate, realtime collaboration and concurrent engineering-based business processes operating in an Integrated Digital Environment (IDE). The IDE uses lightweight, neutral Computer Aided Design (CAD) Digital Mock-Up (DMU). The DMU deals with complex structural assemblies and systems of more than a hundred thousand parts created by engineers across the globe, each using diverse CAD, Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management(SCM),Customer Relationship Management(CRM) and Computer Aided Maintenance Management System (CAMMS) systems. In this paper, a comprehensive approach to making such an environment a reality is presented.

— This work is based off of our Bridge Monitoring System Project. There have been recent incidents of bridge collapses in India due to lack of proper maintenance and inspection, which is what this project is aims to find a solution for. The Project is a Bridge Monitoring System. The Bridge Monitoring System aims to monitor over long durations the vibrations propagated through suspension and possibly other similar bridges under load as well as no load conditions. It also aims to monitor the effects of weather (especially wind) on the bridges. The project makes use of a micro controller-based system to acquire, process, transmits, receive, display, graph and store data. The statistical data will reveal how the bridge responds under various conditions and graph the information in a meaningful way.

The study performs preparation of the precursor thin films with MgO doped ZnO nanocrystalline ceramics by electrospinning technique and their characterizations by small and wide angle X-ray scattering methods. The prepared films on Si and commercial glass wafers as nanoceramic mats were calcined at 320, 340, 360 and 380 °C. The role of the annealing conditions on the morphological changes and uniformity of the films was also investigated. Results show that, the thermal process and choice of the wafer are critical for film morphology at the nano and atomic scales through the network shrinkage and crystallization, respectively. Samples show mono/poly disperse isolated nanoclusters/regular lamellar distributions/and embedded aggregations.

—This paper presents the application of micro-simulation for traffic planning and forecasting, and proposes a new framework to model complex traffic conditions by calibrating and adjusting traffic parameters of a micro-simulation model. By using an open source micro-simulator package, TRANSIMS, in this study, animated and numerical results were produced and analysed. The framework of traffic model calibration was evaluated for its usefulness and practicality. Finally, we discuss future applications such as providing end users with real time traffic information through Intelligent Transport System (ITS) integration.

Software engineering is a team activity yet the programmer’s key
tool, the IDE, is still largely that of a soloist. This paper describes
the vision, implementation and initial evaluation of CoffeeTable –
a fully featured research prototype resulting from our reflections
on the software design process. CoffeeTable exchanges the
traditional IDE for one built around a shared interactive desk. The
proposed solution encourages smooth transitions between agile
and traditional modes of working whilst helping to create a shared
vision and common reference frame – key to sustaining a good
design. This paper also presents early results from the evaluation
of CoffeeTable and offers some insights from the lessons learned.
In particular, it highlights the role of developer tools and the
software constructions that are shaped by them.
