This paper summarizes some Aristotle's teachings for contemporary economics. It starts clarifying that he uses the term oikonomike in an enlarged way in order to extract these contributions. The author considers four analogical meanings of oikonomike, as a human action (of using what is necessary for the life and the Good Life), as a ca- pacity, as a habit and as a practical science. Con- cerning ethical teachings, the paper enumerates the virtues that mostly assist the economic actions and avoids the practice of a "censured chrematistics". Then, the paper stresses the political character of oikonomike and the relevance of institutions for the economy. It tackles the issue of incommensurabil- ity and suggests to recall the need of using a "prac- tical comparability" to decide about social ends. Fi- nally, the paper analyses the consequences of economics being a practical science.

**In the present communication one tries to approach the phenomenon of the formal
learning of an analyst of intelligence, of rigorous and scientific form, with the use of
concrete tools that could allow to design a program of formation removed from the
improvisation, from the succession of unconnected contents and of the topics. It is a
question of answering to questions as those who continue: How it is structured of
specific form and makes concrete the learning of an analyst of intelligence? How is the
learning of an analyst designed? What competitions and how are they evaluated? How
there is evaluated the return of the learning of an analyst? How there adapts the model
of formal learning to the different cognitive models of the analyst?

The urban traffic congestion has become a global phenomenon. Rapid urbanization and industrialization have caused an unprecedented revolution in growth of vehicles all over the world. This study presents, grade separation (over bridge) is provide in place of at grade signalized intersection. Ahmedabad city of Gujarat state is taken as study city. Shivaranjani signalized intersection on 132 ft ring road in the city of Ahmedabad is selected as a case study intersection. Various types of data are collected such as classified volume counts, signal cycle length, green time, phase plan etc. and number of lanes, lane width, grade, lane groups etc as a part of geometric data. The flow rate, saturation flow rate and its adjustment factors, capacity, volume to capacity ratio, critical lane group volume to capacity ratio, delay for lane groups, approaches and intersection as whole and delay comparison with level of service are calculated. This study proves that shivaranjani intersection must be required to convert in to grade separation.

This article looks at motivations and both formal and informal learning contexts for well-educated young Balinese from poorer areas who enrol in cruise ship training colleges. The major motivations were getting a high income and helping the family. While basic hospitality and tourism skills are acquired, trainees also named other capacities such as politeness, confidence and tricks such as juggling as advantageous. The work on board was acknowledged to be arduous and demanding. Physical and mental preparation was needed. On retirement from a cruise ship career, savings enable them to start a small business in Bali. However, many such small enterprises fail. We identify the need for further short course training and other support in post-cruise ship work business planning and management.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the green and circular economy (GCE) model from the point
of view of the resources and capacities of the organization. How is the application of the circular
economy model related to strategic management? At first glance, it seems that the CE is operating
within an operational level with a social impact, but it also hasimplicationsthat allow usto think that
it can be used as an internal resource of the company that, if applied in the right way, can become a
competitive advantage; in other words, the application of the CE is related to strategic management
through the point of view based on resources and capabilities. Therefore, the present investigation
has a descriptive-correlational nature, which was analyzed through Peng’s VRIO framework

This paper focuses on describing how capacities and competences could be use for achieving a sustainable competitive advantage within hotels management since tourism has gained a special position in the export of services and regional development and entrepreneurship in Latvia, and played a significant role in the rapid transition from ineffective planning to full-scale competition. In this study the focus is on Latvian hotels, since hospitality industry and tourism in general mirror the development of this country, presenting the process through which competencies and capacities can be used as determinants of the competitive advantage.

John Haldane commented recently on Lonergan's absence from the analytic conversation— not a single entry of the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy mentions him. If this situation is to be remedied then Lonergan, Meaning and Method may prove a useful resource. With fine sensitivity to the historical roots of philosophical discussions, especially in the British context, this fourth book by Andrew Beards attempts to build bridges between isolated traditions by skilfully discerning latent connections and new developments. It touches on epistemology, science, art and semantics. Beards finds a measure of agreement with Timothy Williamson who espouses an " anti-luminosity " doctrine: self-knowledge is not always easy; the transition from conscious self-presence to genuine self-knowledge requires a subtle and diligent inquiry. On the other hand, in view of the post-Gettier preoccupations, Beards questions whether Williamson has the final word. Gettier's famous article had shaken up epistemologists by bringing to prominence cases in which true, justified belief is not knowledge as when we think we know the time by looking at a clock that has stopped at what unbeknown to us happens to be the right time. These have been taken to vindicate externalism over internalism, the idea that knowledge does not necessarily involve knowing that we know—sometimes we know without having luminous access to our inner states. We might think of children, the unsophisticated, or those successfully trained chicken-sexers who reliably make accurate judgements. Beards shows, however, that this cannot be the whole story. " If I claim (judge) that knowledge is not warranted assertion because the way things are in the world makes a statement true, and the warrant in certain cases does not guarantee this, then this itself is a case in which I am claiming to know what is true in the world (reality) because of the sufficiency of the rational warrant of my argument. " In exploring the certainty of self-knowledge, Beards opens up Insight's " little discussed " section on degrees of certainty. Beards stresses that he has only offered a sketch, and perhaps would agree with Dalibor Renić, whom he cites favourably, that there are also externalist elements in early Lonergan (influenced by Newman's Grammar). Or again, that the deepest foundation offered by Insight is a " pragmatic engagement. " Science is another fruitful domain for building bridges and, in the first essay, Beards is keen to note how late on Lonergan returned to characterize his approach as " generalized empirical method " rather than " transcendental method. " This has rhetorical advantages insofar as it underlines Lonergan's distinctiveness from transcendental Thomism. Beards continues to

In a constantly changing society, organizations must adapt and be open to change. Reactivity, variety, costs, deadlines, innovation, increase their competitiveness, increase their flexibility and improve their performance. The approach by resources and capacities is a framework for analyzing competitive advantage. However, the contributions of this approach to the problem of reverse logistics are multiple. The main ambition of this article is therefore to provide a summary of the conceptual contributions. This literature review will allow analysis of the main relationships between resources, capacities and knowledge management and how these approaches can influence the competitiveness of the company, a discussion on the research perspective are presented and conceptual models are proposed.

Abstract Storage of hydrogen is an important component of the hydrogen economy system. Hydrogen must be stored at the production site, as well as at the point of its application. Often, significant part of hydrogen is used directly in the manufacturing process and thus eliminates the necessity of its supply. However, the development of automotive industry and the use of hydrogen for energy production require its storage in order to ensure continuous operation. The need of hydrogen supply itself increases with a use of alternative energy sources. These sources do not allow a constant supply of energy and, as a result, hydrogen serves as an intermediary: an energy carrier. The drawback of its broader application is a low-density storage in conventional pressure and cryogenic tanks, where it is necessary to use high pressures, respectively very low temperatures. Therefore, various types of metal-hydride and adsorption storage tanks are widely tested. Technology of hydrogen adsorption on carbon materials is effective only at cryogenic temperatures and so liquid nitrogen with temperature of 77 K (−196.15 °C) was used for the purpose of lowering the temperature of the storage device. This article discusses the possibilities of use of cryogenic temperatures in the adsorption of hydrogen on materials with broad surface area whereby liquid nitrogen is used to lower the temperature. The method of measuring the amount of adsorbed hydrogen was used to determine and quantify the amount of stored hydrogen.
