Born in 1964, Pierre Jolivet aka Paciic 231 is a French artist living in Ireland. He has been composing music for a long time, has released a huge number of pieces and recordings and adopted a wide, ever-changing and evolving range of sub-genres. He found the roots of his early works in noise and industrial sounds, never leaving a certain inspiration in noise structures. A few years ago, he began to make more experiments with sound generators and field recordings of various kinds as well as sensor technology. Discovering the magic of abstract arrangements, self-generated processed art and electronic sound collages also led him to co-operate with other artists such as Lieutenant Caramel, Vox Populi! or Rapoon. He’s also a performer and presented his multimedia artwork in MACBA (Barcelona) or the Beirut Art Center (Lebanon).

ABSTRACT The Interactive Affect Design Diagram (IADD) transforms the Affect Grid into a tool for design. The process of designing an interactive affective sonic character begins by drawing a path in the IADD to specify the mapping from interaction to affect. The path for ZiZi is on the pleasure side of the diagram. A grumpy character would have a path in the other half, and a more complex character would both positive and negative Valences. The designer then selects a palette of sounds for the character and rates them on the Affect Grid. It takes less than an hour to rate the IADS corpus, so scaling another palette is practical. The next step is to shade regions that group sounds into interaction states. The final stage is to design the physical affordances of the object to guide the user in understanding how to interact (e.g. attract attention, suggest sitting, cue patting, etc.)

The reflection about the experience of space and its folding about construction
and its physical spaces, on the limit between Art and Architecture, it was the purpose
of this research. The presentation of the Danish artist work, OlafurEliassoncreating an
overview of the study of space that the Artist has been carrying out since 1990.It is
installations of Art, which seeks a sensorial space, provocation of the visitor’s sense to
produce an experience of space. Because of the theoretical basis mentioned
frequently by the Artist and its artistic and architectural references, it is necessary one
chapter of understanding the theory of Eliasson’s masterpieces. Starting from the
contact with his artworks, narrowing the theme was defined around the aspects of
light and movement on the perception of space, where it highlights the references of
the Artist on History of Modern Art- The Kinetic Movement and the Group
Light&Space. The configured-triangle between the principle figures of these three
moments- Lászlo Moholy-Nagy, James Turrell and OlafurEliasson–serves as the access
to the repertory of the Danish Artist and it justifies the research not being focused on a
series of other notorious references of Eliasson. This thesis is divided, then, in three
chapters - the Presentation, the Understanding of the Theory and the Artworks of
Eliasson–in which the relationship is established on the examples of the artworks
commented. The tangle of theoretical references found on books of Eliasson has
consequences on the miscellaneous of Chapter 2. From the concepts clarified, terms
used by the Artist, on which artwork commented. On the analysis of two expositions
that occurred on the 2000 years, Take Your Time and Weather Project, it is better
understood his vocabulary and conceptual intentions applied on physical space. The
relevance of multiple researches of OlafurEliasson, which put him on the boarder of
Art and Science includes also the philosophical knowledge and its collaborators, such
as the curator Daniel Birnbaum, and culminates on the experiment of space on the
installations, on the participation of the public.

In the museum context, curators and conservators often play a role in shaping the nature of contemporary artworks. Before, during and after the acquisition of an art object, curators and conservators engage in dialogue with the artist about how the object should be exhibited and conserved. As a part of this dialogue, the artist may express specifications for the display and conservation of the object, thereby fixing characteristics of the artwork that were previously left open. This process can make a significant difference to the visual appearance of the work, the nature of the audience's experience, and how the work should be interpreted. I present several case studies in which the nature of the artwork has been shaped by such dialogues, and discuss principles for resolving cases in which there is a conflict between instructions specified by the artist and those adopted by the museum.

współczesne hybrydy natury, kultury i technologii powstające w obszarze sztuk
performatywnych. W niniejszym wystąpieniu pokażę w jaki sposób tradycja Bauhausu
pozwala zrozumieć zjawiska zachodzące w zamglonym antropocenie. Chodzi tu o powołaną
przeze mnie do istnienia epokę, w której mamy do czynienia tyleż z kryzysem ekologicznym,

Nature has had her day;she has finally and utterly exhausted the patience of sensitive observers by the revolting uniformity of her landscapes and skyscapes. In fact there is not a single one of her inventions, deemed to subtle and sublime, that human ingenuity cannot manufacture.
