The development of Internet technology give a chance for application in all kind of humans activity include education specially for higher education in university in order to increase education quality. In this paper we will discuss about the importance of the elements which must be fulfilled when we build the online academic application with web technology which will help teaching process in university. Also we will discuss to implement open source software as foundation in order to deploy the information system with low cost without losing the performance. In the future assembling internet technology on education and training will be need in order to enhancement and distribution education quality, specially in Indonesia where has many islands separate with sea and mountain. Students and faculty will enjoy access to multiple resources from one location, delivering search results with a range of content including encyclopedia articles, multimedia, related Web sites, magazines, and much more. Enables schools to implement an online academic program. It equips schools to host online courses, conduct live and blog-style communication between faculty and students, track grades, automate test scoring, store course materials, and much more.

The main objective of this paper is to survey, in a schematic and generic way, the major models and approaches concerning the construction and execution of Web information systems. Basically we found three different approaches: server-centric, client-centric and distributed infrastructure-centric applications. We discuss the major strengths and weaknesses of the current Web technology, in this context, and we depict what models and technology of the distributed and dynamic information systems should exist in a near future.

In an attempt to provide educational opportunities for students who are working or who are located at a distance, many universities have developed wholly online distance education programs. These online courses use web technology as a distributed learning mechanism. However, online distance learning in Computer Science courses remains challenging for both teachers and students. Research has shown that there is a significant risk factor for online courses in Computer Science. Course developers and teachers need to be aware of the particular needs of Computer Science students when establishing online courses, if they wish to graduate successful and satisfied students. This paper aims to identify some of the challenges in teaching Computer Science topics online, and identify useful support strategies to enhance learning through the informed use of webbased elearning.

Web Based Enterprise Management
(WBEM) specifies standard for a unifying architecture
that allows access to data from a variety of underlying
technologies, platforms, and presents that data in a
consistent fashion. The aim of this article is to
systematically review of work done by various
researchers regarding WBEM and provide guidelines to
adopt Efficient XML Interchange (EXI) binary xml
technology instead of xml in the WBEM architecture so
that more improved results may be achieved in the
distributed heterogeneous network. Study reflects that
selection of methodology and parameters are application
specific. Furthermore improved solution for WBEM
using EXI is also discussed.

Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies offer an ideal presentation medium for museums and other cultural heritage institutions. Virtual exhibitions enable different audiences, including the disabled and students of all ages, as well as the general public to access and interact with vast numbers of objects scattered among various localities in an engaging and informative way.

This book review of The World is Open: How Web Technology is Revolutionizing Education by Curtis J. Bonk (2009) includes a brief overview of the book, along with a discussion of prevalent themes in the book. In addition to the stated theme of online learning, many of Bonk's examples and analyses focus on empowerment of the learner as a core concept in education of the future.

We report the experiences of semi-professional developers regarding the challenges, tools, and processes within the domain of web application development. The paper summarizes the main problems in web development, characterizes the habits of programmers and concludes with a" developer's wish list" for improvements to web technologies and tools. The report is based on two independent sources-a survey of 31 web developers and an in-depth interview study with 10 participants.

Learning management systems (LMS) can be defined as "a suite of services designed to deliver, track, report on and administer learning content, student progress and student interactions". Current LMS are based on courseware tools which mainly use Internet and the Web as learning platforms. However, they use proprietary/closed technologies and formats such as HTML that are not adequate for developing

This paper discusses how cryptography is misused in the security design of a large part of the Web. Our focus is on ASP.NET, the web application framework developed by Microsoft that powers 25% of all Internet web sites. We show that attackers can abuse multiple cryptographic design flaws to compromise ASP.NET web applications. We describe practical and highly efficient attacks

Since the mid to late 1990s, the World Wide Web has been used as a distributed learning mechanism, enhancing the digital learning environment to support distance and on-campus students. Web technology has been adopted to assist learners with real-time studying at a distance. Consequently, Web delivery has grown rapidly and has been used as a vehicle for learning. Many universities have developed wholly online distance education programs. These changes in distance education have been developed in an attempt to provide easier access to educational opportunities for students who are located remotely from the university, who are working or who have other constraints/commitments such as family commitments. However, online distance learning in Computer Science courses remains challenging for both instructors and students. Research has shown that there is a significant risk factor for online courses in Computer Science. Course developers and instructors need to be aware of the particular n...

The web-technology is going through major changes these years, both with respect to types of systems based on web-technology, organization of the development work, required approaches and competencies, etc. We must rethink the organization of the development work. This requires a deeper and coherent understanding of the nature of web-development. This paper presents findings from a field study undertaken in a webdevelopment company. From these findings we characterize web-application development and discuss some major challenges to cope with and to find proper support for in the future. We found that web-development is characterized by involvement of many expertise groups with little training and experience in information systems design, that some of the existing modeling and communication tools introduce severe problems, and that the pace of the introduction of new tools and features causes development and management problems. A further complication factor is that web-applications ...

Search engine optimization is a strategical technique to take a web
document in top search results of a search engine. Online presence
of an organisation is not only an easy way to reach among the
target users but it may be profitable too if optimization is done
keeping in view of the target users as of the reason that most of the
time users search out with the keywords of their use (Say; PhD in
web technology) rather than searching the organisation name, and
if the page link comes in the top positions then the page may be
profitable. This work describes the tweaks of taking the page on
top position in Google by increasing the Page rank which may
result in the improved visibility and profitable deal for an
organisation. Google is most user friendly search engine proved
for the Indian users which give user oriented results .In addition,
most of other search engines use Google search patterns so we
have concentrated on it. So, if a page is optimised in Google it is
optimised for most of the search engines.

The main objective of the paper is to propose a new design for microcontroller web based 3D printer. In particular, the aim is to design a board which holds these parts, Arduino , Raspberry Pi microcontrollers and power electronics. The technology of the Fused Diffusion Modelling (FDM ) will be applied in the design .The newly proposed system will be used to improve the current design and solve overheating problems that present in these devices. A flexible3D printer design is proposed in this paper to provide the user with a real control and video monitoring through a browser from anywhere. The Implementations based on having a reduced size computer Raspberry Pi which could replace a PC and printer server integrated in printer case with all benefits generated such as the Mobility. So, by adding such helpful features, the 3D printer will deliver more flexibility in use to the end user and it pretends to do it at more affordable pricing to bring this new technology to a larger number of users and to everyday uses.

In the last decades, the use of ontologies in information systems has become more and more popular in various fields, such as web technologies, database integration, multi agent systems, natural language processing, etc. Artificial intelligent researchers have initially borrowed the word “ontology” from Philosophy, then the word spread in many scientific domain and ontologies are now used in several developments.
