This study explores the global perspective of payroll research and patent innovations for the past 50 years. The aims are to offer insights into payroll research and publication characteristics, and to highlight patterns and trends of the payroll systems development. Data are based on the Scopus database up to year 2018. Articles related to payroll were assessed by many aspects including growth of patent and publication, documents and source types, language of publications, subject area, geographical distribution of publications, keyword and citation analyses. From the result of the bibliometric analysis, it can be concluded that payroll systems patent developments are increasing, while publication of payroll empirical studies are quite low in number. Consequently, apart from uncovers innovation and commercialization efforts of payroll systems, this paper proposes that more empirical studies are needed in the area. Greater number of empirical studies will enable exploration of further insights on socio-technical elements and behavioral impacts of payroll systems implementation in organizations. Such studies could discover whether developed and patented systems are worth-investing and impacting on the quality of work and life of the users.

Verbal bullying in schools has become the concern of the researcher. By using the "verbal bullying" AND “school” keywords, on the Scopus Database on March 12th, 2020, 115 documents were found. These documents were produced starting from 1999. The results of the bibliometrics analysis using Biblioshiny show that the most relevant source which has the highest H-Index for this theme is the Journal of School Violence. However, after observing each document, the article written by Wang J. in 2009 in the Journal of Adolescent Health is the one that receives the most citations. Meanwhile, Chen LM is the most productive writer in this field by producing 4 documents. Furthermore, the words that are most frequently mentioned in documents regarding verbal bullying in schools are related to gender, namely male and female, as well as the age of students in schools consisting of children and adolescents. The results of the analysis of the words that are most frequently expressed also indicate that verbal bullying in schools has received certain attention and studied from various disciplines. The results of this bibliometrics analysis are expected to be able to contribute to schools and other relevant parties in dealing with verbal bullying issues and create programs to minimize verbal bullying in schools.

Digital technology and transformation offer unique opportunities to create new value streams. Digitization of knowledge facilitates access to the information within an organization. All stakeholders will benefit from the new and better business digital transformation models. We have conducted a bibliometric analysis to identify relevant elements contributing to a successful digital transformation. We can identify four clusters related to the general groups of concepts that characterize the literature in this context. The cluster analysis results allow us to understand the relevant requirements of digital transformation and their relationships with knowledge management. Digital technologies drive resource optimization for more sustainable enterprises.

Interfaith dialogue has become one of the most significant and interesting activities in contemporary socio-political and socio-religious global scenario due to its crucial role in the peace process and peaceful interfaith relations. Many groups of scholars, institutes, organizations, and even governments are promoting the activities regarding interfaith relations. Meanwhile, it is also assumed that Pakistan is one of the countries where interfaith dialogue activities are arranged officially on the state level. In this study, efforts are made to review statistically and to index the literature produced by Pakistani scholars and universities. A mixed-method research methodology is adopted for this study with a bibliometric approach to find out results. Almost 136 theses & dissertations have been produced by scholars in a wide range of Pakistani Universities on interfaith Dialogue, religious debates, harmony, and relations. The research produced by male scholars was 71 (52.21 %) and most 49 (36%) productive era was from 2011 to 2015. The majority of the research was for Master (38%) and MS/M.Phil (34%) level degrees and about one-fifth of the theses were on the theme of “Interfaith Dialogue in Pakistani context”. Therefore, it is suggested that the course on interfaith dialogue, harmony, and relations should be taught at M. Phil and Ph.D. Level in the discipline of Islamic studies and social sciences.

The subject of internal audit (IA) has been long and widely studied in various issues. However, in recent years, IA research has focused more on the effectiveness and quality of IA, adding value and improving organization operations, and providing assurance and consulting role to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of organiza- tion’s governance, risk management and control processes. IA become one of the crucial governance pillars for most of the organization to effectively manage risks and contributing to the achievement of organization objec- tives. This study aims to analyze and assess the literature published in the IA field by using an empirical and bibliometric approach. Thus, the study offers a standard bibliometric indicators to overview IA research using the Scopus database to identifying the relevant research in the domain that categorized by title, keyword, type of documents, authors, growth of publications, research productivity, and countries. The research findings discov- ered and obtained a total of 557 documents. It indicates about 84.7 percent or 472 out of 557 articles came from journals source type that has the internal audit keywords in its. Thegrowth rate of retrieved litera- ture was increase year by year since 2000. The United States of America ranked first in productivity with 138 (24.8%) published documents. The growth of literature in IA and outcomes of this bibliometric analy- sis found to be useful for researchers in understanding the prospect and outlook of the global research on IA, especially in finding a future research direction. However, the limitation of this type of study is due to the fact that some or a small number of articles may not be discovered in the study as a result of the unique features of different subtopics and subfield of research domain.

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has become a global health crisis. The scientific community has responded with a sizable level of research and publications, many of which are beginning to be identified and analyzed in systematic reviews of the literature and bibliometric studies. No readily identifiable, comparable study focused on Latin American scientific literature has been undertaken thus far. Therefore, this article analyzes such literature, focused on COVID-19, and one that has been published in the scientific journals of the region. A search with the keyword “COVID-19” in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) database resulted in the identification of 261 documents. Following PRISMA guidelines, the total number was reduced to 117 for the
purpose of the bibliometric analysis (i.e., elimination of preprint duplicates). Such analysis resulted in the following findings: 69 publications were editorial or individual commentaries, and 48 were original articles. The male authors totaled 280, contrasted with 169 female authors. Two Brazilian journals led in the number of
publications: Cadernos de Saúde Pública and Clinics. Even though the Latin American scientific productivity regarding COVID-19 is not well represented in the different databases of the region, it is expected that these scientific publications will achieve increased visibility in the coming months. The article emphasizes the importance of systematic and bibliographic reviews of the scientific literature in Latin America in order to evaluate the public health achievements of the region.

Heritage and museums have constituted two fundamental axes of heritage education research in recent decades. This can be defined as the pedagogical process in which people can learn about heritage assets in formal or informal learning contexts. Museums, as centres of reference in informal education, are in constant and fluid contact with schools and produce different and varied didactic materials related to heritage. This paper provides results concerning the development and shaping of the knowledge domain known as heritage education between 2000 and 2019 on the Web of Science (WoS). To this end, different techniques and tools have been used: R-package Bibliometrix and VOSviewer. This analysis has identified five clusters with the topics underpinning heritage education as a specific field of knowledge. Our inquiry has highlighted the fact that there has been an increase in production regarding research topics associated with heritage education and museums in this period, particularly between 2015 and 2019. The inclusion of ESCI journals has led to a greater visibility of WoS-indexed academic production in some countries. Finally, the concepts “heritage”, “museum” and “education” are the axes around which the research paradigms related to heritage education research seem to have been developed.

Regions and regional policy play an important role in today's economy. The center-periphery model represents a generally accepted paradigm, despite the relativity of many theoretical issues (the multidimensionality of social activities or rescaling of relationship scales). Each spatial division and its corresponding boundaries address the formation of some networks and constrain the formation of others. As a result, policies often reinforce marginalization processes. This article analyzes how these notions are employed. The bibliometric analysis tries to synthesize and emphasize critical results from the literature. Analysis may also assist in developing linkages between current relevant topics and exploring new study ideas.

Digital technology and transformation offer unique opportunities to create new value streams. The successful implementation of digital transformation depends mainly on knowledge management. A bibliometric analysis identifies relevant elements contributing to a successful digital transformation. We performed in Scopus the relevant research query for our study. This section looks at an approach that involves two different steps. First, we perform an exploratory bibliometric analysis of the data in the first step to identify the multiple correspondence analysis. Second, we use this analysis to map the relevant keywords extracted from the papers on a two-dimensional map. Third, cluster analysis shows that knowledge management, digitalization, and the new industrial revolution are vital components of digital transformation. In this way, we can highlight the crucial role of intellectual capital in digital transformation because higher intellectual capital means putting resources into work.

Gastronomy represents a significant part of the cultural heritage and identity of tourist destinations; however, related scientific literature is scarce. Considering these aspects within the field of tourism and hospitality, and selecting the articles written in English indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus from 2001 to 2020, the objective of this research is twofold: (1) to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature on gastronomic heritage (71 articles); and (2) to analyze some aspects (main topics, frequency of key terms, methods, and data sources) of the research on case studies in Asia and Europe (46 articles), as they are the most prominent regions on the representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity (UNESCO). The study shows the temporal evolution of the literature on gastronomic heritage in parallel with UNESCO’s actions on cultural heritage. The results reveal that most articles relate gastronomic heritage to the sustainability of tourist destinations, and that European case studies address sustainability more than Asian studies do. Regarding the methodology to analyze Asian and European case studies, qualitative research predominates. Within quantitative studies, the use of online content generated by consumers and marketers as a data source is rare.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Web of Science Core Collection veri tabanında, eğitim araştırmaları kategorisinde yer alan vatandaşlık/yurttaşlık eğitimi üzerine yayımlanmış makalelerin bibliyometrik analizini gerçekleştirmektir. Bu konudaki makalelerin en fazla yayımlandığı ilk üç derginin "Journal of Curriculum Studies", "Theroy and Research in Social Education" ve "Education Citizenship and Social Justice" olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The World-Wide Web provides every internet citizen with access to an abundance of information, but it becomes increasingly difficult to identify the relevant pieces of information. Research in web mining tries to address this problem by applying techniques from data mining and machine learning to Web data and documents. The Web Mining is an application of Data Mining. Without the internet, life would have been almost impossible. The data available on the web is so voluminous and heterogeneous that it becomes an essential factor to mine this available data to make it presentable, useful, and pertinent to a particular problem. Web Mining deals with extracting these interesting patterns and developing useful abstracts from diversified sources. The present study examined 3320 global Web Mining research publications, as indexed in Web of Science database during 2009- 18, with a view to understand their growth rate, prolific authors, highly productivity affiliated institutions, and country-wise contributions of the publications.

With the emerging importance to study negative customer engagement, the goal of the paper is to present the studies done on negative customer engagement from 2008 till January 2021. Out of 117 articles, 40 articles were selected after the filtering procedure. These articles were then analysed according to their year of publication, geographical distribution, authorship, article impact and frequency of keywords by keyword co-occurrence analysis using VOS viewer. Later Theory, Context, Characteristics and Methodology (TCCM) analysis was done to understand the type of theories, contexts, characteristics, and methodologies studied till now. Later future directions are presented from the insights of two analyses to extend the research on negative customer engagement.

The aim of this article is to analyze the historiographical production about curriculum in Brazil based on the incidence of themes, concepts, and references. The methodology involved strategies of bibliometric research and meta-research. The work was organized into three stages: systematic literature review, analysis of titles and abstracts of theses and dissertations, and analysis of bibliographical references and keywords of scientific articles. The analysis of the study objects of theses and dissertations has shown that academic production can be divided into four thematic axes that concern both the school context and the academic context: courses, disciplines, policies and practical theories. The networks formed from bibliographical references and keywords indicated in the articles revealed that the epistemological basis of this academic production is intrinsically related to two main research areas: history of education and curriculum studies.
