Industry 4.0 refers to a digital transformation in the organization and management of the entire value chain involved in industrial processes. Emerging technologies such as 3D printing, sensor technology, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing are just a few examples that accelerate industrial processes within the context of Industry 4.0 which makes them suitable for industrial use. This study intends to explore the current trends in Industry 4.0 during 2012 to 2017 (up to May) period. The patterns were identified by an extensive literature review in all databases within the Web of Science and Google Scholar. The papers are selected using the following criteria: a particular focus on Industry 4.0 or implemented in the context of Industry 4.0, providing necessary information about Industry 4.0 in its abstract, using a kind of research methodology, authoring in English. All selected papers related to Industry 4.0 are reviewed and grouped into five categories. They are coded according to following categories derived from earlier studies: (1) theories, models, and perspectives, (2) CPS-based architectures, (3) integration and interoperability, (4) key drivers and enabling technologies, (5) applications – e.g. smart product, smart city, and smart factory. A content analysis is conducted to analyze selected papers, and the findings are interpreted using descriptive analysis. The research questions guiding this study are: Which issues do researchers focus on most in Industry 4.0? Which types of research methods (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed) are used more? Which journals and conferences have published most papers related to Industry 4.0? What are the specific keywords offered more often by the authors? Which papers are cited more than the others? Which papers are co-authored? From which countries are the articles or proceeding papers coming more? The findings of this study may be useful to explore potential research areas and to identify ignored areas as well as niche topics in Industry 4.0, support the current level of development on Industry 4.0 and might increase the potential research directions.

Abstract
The success of construction contractors largely depends on the specific terms and the availability of sufficient funds for realizing planned projects. Financial issuesin construction have been discussed since mid 1970s, yet no consensus about progress has been reached in the construction finance literature. A systematic analysis of 259 finance related studies in construction is undertaken in order to identify research trends, critical topics and performance of journals and authors. In order to map the productivity in construction finance field, Scopus database was searched for the entire period for which this database provides online coverage. Results reveal that ‘financial health’ category, in particular one group of
studies aiming to monitor and assess the financial performance of construction organizations for broader strategic issues pervaded the construction finance research. However, notably the “identification of
capital structure, determinants and financing instruments” category received less and only recent attention from scholars, despite the significance of capital structure decisions under firm and country
specific determinants in preventing company failures.

The authors investigate the intellectual pillars of service marketing and its evolution through key subareas during 1992-2009 using a citation-based approach. They thereby derive insights for the most promising research directions. The results reveal dynamics influences of different research topics on service marketing. In a graphical representation, the authors further show that the main topics largely have changed their research orientation over time. For example, online service and technology infusion literature reveal an increasingly operational and customer orientation. A citation-based measure of the importance of research opportunities and its comparison to the topics found in recent literature reviews indicates that research into managing business-to-business services and service infusion, complaint handling and service recovery, and enhancing and managing the service value chain are promising topics. These results assist academics and practitioners by revealing what we know about service research and what we need to know in the future.

The Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET) changed its editorial policy in 2013, to focus on higher education research and on improving journal submissions. This study analyses all articles (n = 256) in AJET from 2013-2017 to determine if there has been any change in research topics, methodologies, citations, and authorship since this editorial change, and compares findings to the analysis by Hadlock et al. (2014). The present analysis revealed that the percentage of combined methods research has doubled, although the top 10 most cited articles continue to be predominantly interpretative and inferential. Research has become more student-centred and focused particularly on online collaborative learning environments, and teacher skill and knowledge development, although research gaps exist in mobile learning and gamification. The results also highlight a lack of international collaboration amongst authors, and this is an area for future research.

Getting published in an academic journal is no easy feat, especially for doctoral students and English as a second language speakers, seeking to publish in English. Considering the relatively low acceptance rate for educational technology journals, this article seeks to provide guidance by following the framework of rigour, impact, and prestige (West & Rich, 2012) to evaluate the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET), as well as applying computer-assisted content analysis techniques in new and unique ways, in order to understand how AJET is furthering scholarship in the field. Findings reveal a strong focus on Asia-Pacific scholarship, with little representation from other continents. However, the editors are seeking to improve this, by providing regular advice in editorials for conducting rigorous research and hints on how to get published. Future research trends are identified, including teacher development, learning environments and cognition, and the role of feedback in student learning. In addition, recommendations to editors and doctoral students are provided.

The Basilicata region (Southern Italy) is characterized by a peculiar
environmental as well as biological, geological, and cultural heritage
features that are evident in national and regional parks as
well as places of monumental and archaeological relevance,
including the Matera UNESCO Site. Basilicata hosts the highly
studied Vulture volcanic complex and the largest hydrocarbon
reservoir in continental Europe. Furthermore, the region falls
among the Italian regions most prone to landslides and floods
and it is located in a seismotectonic background responsible of
strong earthquakes. Therefore, the territory of Basilicata can be
considered an open-air laboratory, both natural and “humanbuilt”.
The laboratory, with its features, has attracted many scientists
worldwide and over time. The researchers have focused their
attention on manifold studies.
That being stated, the article aims to analyse the outputs of the
scientific investigations targeting the territory of Basilicata within
the last 24 years (1994–2017) with a bibliometric approach. The
Thomson Reuters’ Science Citation Index Expanded and the Social
Sciences Citation Index were the two bibliographic databases considered.
Once the pertinent articles were extracted from the two
citation indexes, the authors analysed the publication trends, Web
of Science categories, countries, and hot topics.

Massive Open Online Courses emerged in 2008 as a result of openness movement in education and drew a lot of attention by 2011 when MOOCs were adopted by higher education institutions and used as a mean to deliver knowledge and educational content. Though MOOCs have a recent history, much has been articulated and MOOCs are claimed to be a revolution in education while some others claimed that MOOCs are a hype that will eventually fade away. In this context, this research aims to investigate MOOC research by reviewing MOOC literature. The findings of the study suggest that MOOC interest tend to continue, and the evidence-based empirical MOOC research is increasing steadily. MOOC research area is dominated mostly by educational research; however, other research areas demonstrate that there is an interest from other research areas which is thought to be promising. Regional interest demonstrates that USA, Spain and UK are leading countries; and most interest stems from developed countries with Anglo-Saxon cultures. Likewise, the leading higher education institutions in MOOC research are located in Europe or USA. It is also promising that nearly half of the MOOC research is funded by stated agencies. The study concludes that MOOCs are evolving and, based on research findings, it is moving from Slope of Enlightenment to Plateau of Productivity in Gartner hype cycle.

The emergence of Massive Open Online Courseware (MOOC) has garnered widespread attention for revolutionizing open access learning and it is considered as the main driver of education innovation. The literature on MOOC is steadily growing. However, there is not much effort being conducted to systematically curate, review and analyse the emergent trends on MOOC in higher educational institutions. For this research, a systematic literature review is initiated using Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Model where the database comprises state-of-the-art researches on MOOC ranging from 2008 to mid-2014. There were 405 papers identified for primary study and 164 papers were found relevant to the research. State-of-the-art researches on MOOC in higher educational institutions were identified and current trends, issues and stances on MOOC were identified, analysed and discussed. This research is expected to assist policy makers, academicians and researchers to understand the trends and issues in the conceptualization and execution of MOOC in higher educational institutions and propagate future studies on MOOC.

Shopping centres are not a recent form of commerce activity in urban areas. The very beginning of this kind of trade organization in United States goes back into the past as far as the first decades of the twentieth century. in the last decade of the same century, shopping centres reached the stage of maturity, both in America and in Europe. Nevertheless, new, multidimensional studies in this subject are still carried out and they are characterized with high dynamism. On the basis of extended literature survey, the author has decided to divide the entire research period into two phases. The first, fundamental one (until 1956) is a starting point of all studies, defining a genesis and evolution of the initial form of shopping centre concept. The second, mature phase (after 1956), encounters a separation of four major research lines, i.e.: technical, localization, system-economical and behavioural. All the above mentioned parts work and interact with each other, creating a complex system of mutual dependencies, which undergoes permanent evolution under the influence of new, specialized research branches.

Several investigators have conducted bibliometric analysis of research productivity of different countries in the world. A few studies have also been carried out to assess the productivity and impact of a single institute. As no bibliometric study on PRL has been done before, the researcher thought it appropriate to carry out the study for her doctoral research with the following objectives:
a. To study the division wise output of research
b. To identify the thrust areas of research at PRL
The present bibliometric study aims to measure the research output of Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) during a 10 year period (1997-2006) using the data of papers published in journals.
The content analysis of the articles published in journals and the use of PACS to allot keywords helped to identify the thrust areas of research carried out in PRL during 1997-2006.
The study found that. 515 papers were published in subject field of Theoretical Physics (PACS 0-70), 57 papers were published in Interdisciplinary subject fields (corresponding to PACS number 80) and Geophysics, Astronomy and Astrophysics (PACS number 90) account for more than half of the total share of articles published in journals (746) during the ten year period in PRL.
Further classification of these subject fields have indicated the thrust areas of research carried out in Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. The researcher hopes that this information will be useful to the institute’s decision makers for future research planning.

Information security risk analysis becomes an increasingly essential component of organization’s operations. Traditional Information security risk analysis is quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. Quantitative and qualitative analysis methods have some advantages for information risk analysis. However, hierarchy process has been widely used in security assessment. A future research direction may be development and application of soft computing such as rough sets, grey sets, fuzzy systems, generic algorithm, support vector machine, and Bayesian network and hybrid model. Hybrid model are developed by integrating two or more existing model. A Practical advice for evaluation information security risk is discussed. This approach is combination with AHP and Fuzzy comprehensive method.

The world is looking to reduce carbon emissions, prevent global warming, and become more energy sustainable. Despite the various strategies for mitigating climate change, the fact remains that 80% of greenhouse gas emissions are attributable to activities associated with the built environment, and this is where a concentrated focus is needed. Moreover, most buildings are residential, not commercial or industrial. In essence, ways must be found to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions from existing houses and apartments globally if sustainability is to be realised. The recognised way to achieve this is through the retrofitting of existing residential buildings. Studies in this area have increased in recent times, but the extent of the work remains unmapped and undescribed. If further progress is to be made in this field, researchers’ knowledge domain so far must be documented. This literature review delivers that goal. A scientometric evaluation of research on residential retro...

This article addresses European Research Council (ERC) grants in the Archaeology and History panel (SH6). The study was conducted by considering the first two cycles of ERC funding (2007-2020). We introduce to eligibility criteria and evaluation process involved in ERC calls. We show the results of the analysis in terms of most awarded ‘countries’ per call (Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant, Advanced Grant), the profiles of researchers and the main research subjects of 360 granted funding. The inquire is extended to a systematic analysis regarding the profile of scientific members of the commissions (480 scholars) employed to evaluate the proposals. The outcome is that Italian institutions underperforming compared to other major European countries; the success rate of ‘Italian’ proposals is lower than the European average; young Italian researchers very rarely obtain Starting Grants. This is, we believe, partly due to some policies currently still in place –even if no longer sustainable -in Italian universities. There is some correlation between most awarded institutions (by country) and most employed panelists. In the final part, we show the main trending topics of ERC projects.
