This paper addresses sale as a specific case of real property transfer. Special emphasis is on the administrative procedure and legal framework of such property transactions in Slovenia. The article is concentrated on the rural land sale with the main aim to present and expound the models of transactions for international comparisons, and for comparisons of the real estate transfer among different real estate markets. A detailed transfer of the ownership of rural land is presented, where standardized modelling language UML serves for visualization of the models. The outcomes of this research are presented on different UML diagrams. Besides the comprehensive presentation of the transaction procedures also the roles of involved actors are introduced. The modelled transaction could be the base for the simplification and optimization of the rural land transaction procedures; and consequently, development of the rural land market. Furthermore, such models can serve as the starting-point for the rural land market analysis, providing basic information on spatial planning, progress in land policy, land management, real estate appraisal and property taxation.

This is the sixth of the articles written by the author on behalf of the Committee for the celebrations of the two thousandth anniversary of the birth of Emperor Vespasian, concerning centuriations high Sabina.

Cyanide poisoning is uncommon, but generates interest because of the presumed utility of an antidote immediately available in those areas with a high risk of cyanide exposure. As part of its regular review of guidelines, the Australian Resuscitation Council conducted a systematic review of the human evidence for the use of various proposed cyanide antidotes, and a narrative review of the relevant pharmacological and animal studies. There have been no relevant comparative or placebo-controlled human trials. Nine case series were identified. Treatment with hydroxocobalamin was reported in a total of 361 cases. No serious adverse effects of hydroxocobalamin were reported, and many patients with otherwise presumably fatal poisoning survived. Sodium thiosulphate use was reported in two case series, similarly with no adverse effects. Treatment with a combination of sodium nitrite, amyl nitrite and sodium thiosulphate was reported in 74 patients, with results indistinguishable from those of hydroxocobalamin and sodium thiosulphate. No case series using dicobalt edetate or 4-dimethylaminophenol were identified, but successful use in single cases has been reported. Hydroxocobalamin and sodium thiosulphate differ from alternatives in having negligible adverse effects, and on the basis of current evidence are the antidotes of choice. The indications for the use of an antidote, the requirements for supportive care and a recommended approach for workplaces where there is a risk of cyanide poisoning are presented.

Advertising, which developed in the late eighteenth century as an increasingly sophisticated and widespread form of brand marketing, would seem a separate world from that of the 'literature' of its time. Yet satirists and parodists were influenced by and responded to advertising, while copywriters borrowed from the wider literary culture, especially through poetical advertisements and comic imitation. This is the first full-length study to pay sustained attention to the cultural resonance and literary influences of advertising in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. John Strachan addresses the many ways in which literary figures including George Crabbe, Lord Byron, Thomas Hood and the young Charles Dickens responded to the commercial culture around them. With its many fascinating examples of contemporary advertisements read against literary texts, this study combines a new approach to the literary culture of the day with an examination of the cultural impact of its commercial language.

This study summarizes the findings of three assessments of Central Medical Store (CMS) reform and performance in Francophone Africa. The study aims to document and characterize the organizational reform of the CMSs and the impact of the reform on CMS management and performance in Cameroon, Burkina and Senegal. It seeks further to assess the extent to which increased autonomy brought about by such "marketizing" reforms has had an impact on intermediate CMS results-service quality, product quality, and access to medicines. The findings indicate that organizational reform did contribute towards improving operational performance which, in turn, influenced service quality, product quality, and access to CMS-supplied medicine in these countries. However, improvements in these areas were premised not simply on increased autonomy, but on a whole variety of drivers, both internal and external to a CMS. These include a strong regulatory framework-the conventions, laws, regulations, and administrative acts that increase the flexibility of some decision making rights, whilst constraining others, with an emphasis on social obligations, accountability, and transparency-as well as external factors, such as technical assistance, government subsidies, and relevant external policies, institutions and regulations. The paper ends by proposing a framework that could be used both for the design as well as for the analysis of marketizing reforms in CMSs and other public sector commodity supply entities in developing countries. The framework is sufficiently general that, with some modifications, it could also be applied usefully to the design and analysis of such reform in other public sector institutions delivering social services.

This study is about studying the market situation of real estate and automotive industry in and around Chennai during the pandemic season (Covod-19). The study comprises an inter disciplinary approach called as transdisciplinary model where parameters were not considered from single field. The parameters studied are of four varied categories such as psychological, social, economic and logical influence. The basic enquiry log of real estate industry and automatize industry in Chennai is collected and preliminary analysis was made on percentage of conversion from enquiry to sale. Then the enquirers are provided with questionnaire mapped with the influencing parameters, to study their decision taking pattern. The results show that each unit has different influencers, but altogether there was no logical approach hence conforming the panic consumeristic behavior during the time of pandemic. Also, it shows that commercial vehicle section has got a worst heat, and the real estate sale is also in back seat due to unprecedented future.

This paper derives equilibrium government policies towards parallel imports in a North-South model where the Northern …rm produces high quality and the Southern …rm produces low quality. Given policies, each …rm decides whether or not to serve the other country's market. If Northern consumers have su¢ ciently higher preference for high quality, the Northern government forbids parallel imports and international price discrimination obtains: when the threat of indirect competition from arbitrage-induced parallel imports is absent, …rms choose to directly compete in both markets. If demand structures are relatively similar across countries, the North permits parallel imports and uniform pricing obtains.

Little cross-cutting conclusions emerge from comparative studies on the impact of structural adjustment on sub-Saharan African (SSA) agricultural performance. This paper aims to illuminate this long-standing debate by adopting a novel quantitative, sectoral and long-term approach controlling for country-specific determinants. It incorporates detailed information on the pace of reforms and the nature of post-reform market structure, pre-reform policies and weather conditions at the cultivation zone level. The cotton sector is the focus of this paper because of its particularly interesting institutional history. We find that the changes in market structure brought about by reforms have had very different impacts in Francophone West and Central Africa and in the rest of SSA. In the former region, production has been higher but productivity lower, on average, in countries with regulated markets than in monopolistic markets. Conversely, in the rest of SSA, productivity has been higher in liberalised markets than in monopolistic ones but highly competitive markets seem to have produced less than monopolistic sectors.
