Block copolymer (BCP) self-assembly is expected to complement conventional optical lithography for the fabrication of next-generation microelectronic devices. In this regard, silicon-containing BCPs with a high Flory-Huggins interaction parameter (χ) are extremely appealing because they form high-resolution nanostructures with characteristic dimensions below 10 nm. However, due to their slow self-assembly kinetics and low thermal stability, these silicon-containing high-χ BCPs are usually processed by solvent vapor annealing or in solvent-rich ambient at a low annealing temperature, significantly increasing the complexity of the facilities and of the procedures. In this work, the self-assembly of cylinder-forming polystyrene-block-poly(dimethylsiloxane-random-vinylmethylsiloxane) (PS-b-P(DMS-r-VMS)) BCP on flat substrates is promoted by means of a simple thermal treatment at high temperatures. In this paper, we describe the formatting guidelines for IJCA Journal Submission. A digital public address (PA) system which is capable of multi-zone and text-to-speech (TTS) broadcasting functions for campus broadcasting. The digital PA system can achieve environmental broadcasting requirement which means different broadcasts for multiple zones at the same time and it cannot cause noise to other zones. The emergency broadcasting is major considered functionality for the modern digital PA systems. Digital PA system is very suitable for language listening training. ITTP is used to address key Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) requirements and solve the problems resulting from Real Time Protocol(RTP) /User Datagram Protocol(UDP). The Comparison shows that Internet Telephony Transport Protocol (ITTP) gives better performance compared with RTP/UDP in terms of packet loss, delay and bandwidth usage.

Multimedia on phones is a rapidly growing segment, and almost every mobile user would have a perceived need for a multimedia-based entertainment application. The size of the worldwide mobile video market was comprised of 429 million mobile video users in 2011, projected to grow exponentially to 2.4 billion users by 2016. Smartphones and tablet sales will contribute 440 million new mobile video users during the forecast period. [1]. However, in spite of advances in the capabilities of mobile devices, a gap between mobiles and pcs will continue to exist, and may even widen, with the requirements of rich multimedia applications. Mobile cloud computing can help bridge this gap, providing mobile applications the capabilities of cloud servers and storage together with the benefits of mobile devices and mobile connectivity. Se por noticiário televisivo entendermos um conjunto de peças organizadas de modo global, um alinhamento deverá sempre funcionar como um todo, apresentando uma evolução na continuidade. Se por alinhamento do telejornal concebermos a imagem de um continuum ao longo do qual as notícias passam de quentes a frias, de sérias a lúdicas, a primeira notícia, a de abertura, apresenta um particular interesse. Ela reflecte aquilo que de mais importante acontece no país e no mundo, integra-se num conjunto de que se espera uma certa coerência e assume-se como o mais significativo do noticiário: é a primeira. Neste artigo analisamos a abertura do Telejornal da RTP desde 1959 até 2009. Distinguimos nesse trabalho quatro períodos que nos parecem distintos na História da Televisão Portuguesa: 1) o Estado Novo; 2) o 25 de Abril; 3) os anos de democracia em regime de monopólio televisivo; e 4) o período pós-TV privadas. A história da televisão em Portugal até aos anos 70 não se resume à sua função enquanto poderoso aparelho de propaganda do regime ditatorial. A RTP constituiu-se como um agente de grande importância na evolução dos costumes da sociedade portuguesa, principalmente nos anos 60. A 25 de Abril de 1974, o golpe militar que mudou o curso da história do país, também transformou a Radiotelevisão Portuguesa. A televisão desempenhou, desde a primeira hora e em vários sentidos, um importante papel na Revolução Portuguesa. Livre da censura e do exame prévio mas ocupada por militares, pretendia-se que a RTP se apresentasse como expressão da liberdade conquistada em Abril. Tactile Internet is an Internet network that combines ultra-low latency with extremely high availability and reliability. Since traditional protocols, such as UDP and TCP, cannot support this operation, other transport protocols are required to meet the stringent requirements of the Tactile Internet. This paper evaluates the implementation of the Multi-connection Tactile Internet Protocol (MTIP), a multi-connectivity transport protocol for the Tactile Internet. MTIP uses application and network status information to select network paths intelligently and, in so doing, to improve reliability and latency. The paper studies how different configurations of the MTIP algorithm impact its path selection and the effect on lost and late packets. This evaluation is performed in an emulated environment and in a 4G/5G lab to evaluate the protocol in diverse scenarios. The results show a direct trade-off between higher reliability requirements and the number of duplicate packets.

Assim, este Manual pretende oferecer uma visão sobre a diversidade de matérias e disciplinas que compõem os Estudos dos Media e das Ciências da Comunicação, tentando dar uma perspetiva histórica e, ao mesmo tempo, assinalar a situação atual dos meios e deste campo disciplinar. O manual convida a um percurso construído pelo leitor, visto que, no fim dos capítulos, são propostos exercícios e é listada alguma bibliografia adicional para aprofundar o tema aí tratado.
