Dějiny raně novověké Francie jsou období francouzských dějin mezi lety 1492 až 1789, tedy období začínající příchodem renesance do Francie a končící Velkou francouzskou revolucí. Během tohoto období se Francie postupně proměnila z feudálního státu středověkého typu ve vysoce centralizovanou monarchii s mocnou absolutistickou vládou soustředěnou v rukou krále, opírajícího se o mohutný úřednický aparát, silné vojsko a církev. مملكة فرنسا في الحقبة الحديثة المبكرة، هي المملكة التي امتدت من عصر النهضة (نحو عام 1500-1550) إلى الثورة الفرنسية (1789-1804)، حُكم هذا النظام الملكي من قبل آل بوربون (فرع الأبناء الصغار للسلالة الكابية) والذي يُقابل ما يُسمى بالنظام القديم. تزايدت مساحة الأراضي الفرنسية خلال هذه الحقبة لدرجة سيطرتها على جميع المناطق المُشكلة لفرنسا الحديثة، بالإضافة إلى احتوائها على الأراضي التابعة للإمبراطورية الفرنسية الاستعمارية الأولى العابرة للبحار. هيمن الملك لويس الرابع عشر «ملك الشمس» على هذه الحقبة (امتدت فترة حكمه من 1643 إلى 1715 والتي تعتبر الأطول في التاريخ)، والذي عمل على التخلص من بقايا إقطاعية القرون الوسطى وتأسيس دولة مركزية تحت حكمٍ ملكي مُطلق، صمد هذا النظام حتى قيام الثورة الفرنسية وما بعدها. The Kingdom of France (French: Royaume de France) in the early modern period, from the Renaissance (circa 1500–1550) to the Revolution (1789–1804), was a monarchy ruled by the House of Bourbon (a Capetian cadet branch). This corresponds to the so-called Ancien Régime ("old rule"). The territory of France during this period increased until it included essentially the extent of the modern country, and it also included the territories of the first French colonial empire overseas. The period is dominated by the figure of the "Sun King", Louis XIV (his reign of 1643–1715 being one of the longest in history), who managed to eliminate the remnants of medieval feudalism and established a centralized state under an absolute monarch, a system that would endure until the French Revolution and beyond.
