A smartphone and a strong Internet connection are what every tech-savvy customer's need to meet the full spectrum of his / her everyday needs. The on-demand taxi service is a phenomenon that has changed the habit of a huge proportion of people in the country who ride on a daily basis. The hour-long waiting and paying out inflated rates for community transportation is now over thanks to on-demand taxi services. The taxi business sector is evolving at a rapid pace with new technology, on-demand services, attracting consumers, new marketing strategies, and dedicated service providers are all helping to reinforce integrated industries and create strong brands that can spread beyond national borders. It is important for cab service companies to understand the factors that influence the choice of cab service providers. This paper is an attempt to measure service quality proposed by (Parasuraman, A., Zeithaml, V., Berry, 1988) and its impact on satisfaction for on-demand ride services. The data was collected from around 1494 respondents using any on-demand ride mobile application for at least six months. The initial questionnaire was pre-tested with around 50 on-demand ride mobile application users. The changes were incorporated in the finalised questionnaire before starting the data collection. It was found that for delivering satisfaction to the on-demand ride users all the dimensions are service quality namely reliability, assurance, empathy and responsiveness are significant, though for measuring service quality all the five measures are essential.

The integration of entire supply and value chain into a closed loop network is gaining more im-portance in recent times in order to ensure a business to be economically and environmentally sustainable with the changing trends in business and social environments, growing environmental consciousness in the society and government legislations to protect the environment as well as the business. In this context, this paper considers a multi-echelon closed loop supply chain network design with forward and reverse logistics components. An attempt has been made to develop a mixed integer non-linear programming model for this problem with different costs so that the sum of the total cost is minimized subject to different constraints pertaining to capacities of the entities of the system, demands of first customers and second customers. A generalized model is presented and then its application is illustrated using an example problem by solving the model using LINGO14. This model forms as a to...

Various changes have been taking place in procurement, manufacturing, and physical distribution system globally. The manufacturing firms have been facing challenging tasks in managing complex logistics and supply chain management issues. Due to the intensity of competitive forces, firms attempt to focus on various aspects of logistics to reduce cost, improve quality, and manage responsiveness and thereby develop a competitive advantage. Multiple procurement activities such as material specification, value analysis, supplier relationship management, negotiation, buying, quality assurance, and inbound transportation are essential for firms due to their overall impact on profitability, customer service, and quality management. These factors are given importance by manufacturing firms while setting logistics objectives in a supply chain system. The logistics objectives such as minimization of inventory, consistent and reliable delivery, freight economy, minimization of product damages, quick response system, and quality improvement are closely linked to the management of procurement systems in modern organizations. Hence, the study attempts to analyze the impact of procurement activities on the setting of logistics objectives by the manufacturing firms in the UAE

E-commerce marketing channel is a media that fully mediated by information technology, depriving the intrinsic attributes of services, and creating information asymmetry. Information asymmetry can reduce consumer ability to evaluate services effectively, hence posing a challenge to service providers. Signaling theory provides a framework for understanding how extrinsic attributes (signals) can be used by service providers to communicate the information quality of services to consumers. This paper proposes a model to investigate how the quality of a university official website acts as a signal of quality of university education as commercial service. This research divides university website quality into several dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, functionality, ease of use, information quality, and visual appeal. Questionnaires are distributed to third year students of senior high schools around Jakarta to observe the quality of university website based on those dimensions. Based on the analysis of the 117 questionnaires, the conclusion is that the quality of a university website influences the perception of the quality of university education, which eventually affects the intentions of prospective students to enroll to the university.

Abstract Increased responsiveness and transparency are among the most important promises of digital democracy. A number of Parliamentary Monitoring Organizations (PMO) have emerged in the last decade, showing innovative ways of political communication between citizens and politicians and nourishing the hope put into revitalizing representative democracy. PMOs provide the infrastructure for parliamentary transparency and responsiveness by aggregating data about individual parliamentarian's performance and offer the possibility to (re-)establish the link between citizens and their representants. Using the example of the annual MP ranking drawn up by the German PMO Abgeordnetenwatch.de, this article deals with the responsiveness of MPs of the German Bundestag to citizen's online requests. The study shows that parliamentary and governmental position roles, as well as MP's presence or absence from the parliament are factors explaining their responsiveness. But the ranking itself also seems to have a direct impact on MP's responsiveness as particularly the lower performing MPs are keen to improve their position in the next year. The article closes with a discussion of the benefits and drawbacks of such rankings for working parliaments such as the German Bundestag. The present study evaluates the customer perceptions of service quality in select private sector banks. Data was collected from 200 customers of Private Sector Banks using structured questionnaire. Gap analysis and Multi regression were used for analysis of data. The result shows that the dimension of service quality such as Empathy and Accessibility has more gap, as the customer expectations are high to their perceived service. The result also indicates that Empathy-Reliability-Assurance positively influences the service quality. The study implies that bank should reduce the service gap to deliver superior quality of service to retain existing customers as well as to attract new customers.

In order to achieve their mission, the vision of all hotels is delivering quality services to satisfy their customers who are consuming the services of the hotels. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction in the case of star-rated hotels in Shashemene town. To address this objective, the researcher employed the most widely used model called Service quality (SERVQUAL) model and analyze the effect of service quality dimensions (Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Empathy, and Assurance) on customer satisfaction. The researcher implemented an explanatory research design with quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The researcher selected 315 star-rated hotel customers using stratified and convenience random sampling technique that were determined based on Carvalho (1984) sampling table. They were asked to rate their opinion according to a five-point Likert scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree levels. The analysis section of this study is based on descriptive and inferential analyses. The major data analysis techniques of the inferential part are including correlation and multiple linear regressions. The study result indicated that the services given by star-rated hotels were appreciated by customers. Service quality measurements such as reliability, responsiveness, and tangibility had a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Since hotel is a service-oriented organization, the hotel managers should keep in providing service quality so as to retain the existing customers and attract new customers.

Fulfilling customers' expectations is important to prove their loyalty in the market. Therefore, this study is conducted to examine the effect of service quality on customer loyalty at selected Hotels in Hawassa, Ethiopia. The study employed an explanatory research design with a quantitative research approach. The required data were collected from 185 hotel customers by using a convenient sampling technique. The data collected through questionnaire were analyzed using both descriptive (Mean and SD) and inferential statistics (correlation and multiple linear regression) with the help of SPSS software version 26. The findings of the study showed that hotel customers become loyal when hotel employees respond to their requests as expected when hotel employees become active to make customers feel and secure in their transactions when hotel employees give customers individual attention and understand customers' specific needs when employees caring individual attention to customers by having the best interests at heart and having enough attention to the newcomers. Therefore, the study concludes that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. That means service quality variables such as tangibility, responsiveness; reliability, assurance, and empathy have a positive influence on customer loyalty.

This study aimed at identifying the determining factors of service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty towards hotel industry in UAE. This study has investigated the different dimensions of service quality that impact customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in UAE hotels. For this research, primary data were used to identify the dimensions of service quality that impact customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The use of primary data enabled the researcher to measure all the dimensions. This study is significant in the sense that it will allow the understanding of the concept and framework of the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty that takes into account the comparative nature with conventional business. This will also support and enrich theory and model of service quality in UAE’s business environment. Finally, this will generate greater awareness among UAE hotel industry on the importance of service quality and its effectiveness. Moreover, systematically reviewing the customers’ feedbacks, decision makers might examine all the important aspects in order to determine the most appropriate decisions and actions to satisfy the customers with an aim to retain them. Hence, the deliberate structure of the management process will force hotel employees to examine relevant variables in deciding what to do and how to do it. In conclusion No doubt UAE is one of the leading countries in hotel industry but still there is lack and gap which they need to fulfil by doing many workshop as well as by proper training to the employee which will result in achieving customer satisfaction.

Customer Relationship management has become a crucial strategy which is adopted by every organization to improve its business and thus gaining competitive advantage over the rivals. The Indian Aviation is one of the largest growing sectors which laid attention on maintaining profitable relations with its passengers due to tremendous increase in passengers' traffic in the recent years. This paper assesses the effect customer relationship management factors adopted by Aviation sector on loyalty. The study uses seven customer relationship management factors-Customer focus, Responsiveness, Staff assistance, convenience, post-flight services, other relationship maintaining practices and needs of the customer based on the previous review of literature. Various statements related to relationship management practices were asked under each factor. The sample size consisted of 300 passengers from different districts of Punjab and Union Territory Chandigarh. Purposive non-probability sampling technique was used to select the target population for the survey. Structural equation modeling was employed to examine the relationship of the Customer Relationship Management factors on loyalty. The findings of the research shows that passengers have overall positive attitude towards Customer Relationship Management practices adopted by airlines and out of seven factors responsiveness, staff assistance, convenience, and other relationship practices factors have significant effect on passengers' loyalty. The research study suggested that airline should adopt appropriate relationship management strategies to develop long lasting relationship with the travelers thus result in loyalty towards the company.

For organisations that interface with a large audience (i.e. governments, businesses, consumer bodies, non-profits), there are expectations that engagement on social media can improve responsiveness. The paper develops a framework of social media engagement based on a case study with food governance and consumer organisations in the UK and Ireland. Application of the framework identifies three key capabilities that can frame the contribution of social media engagement in this context: (1) consistency in managing social interactions, (2) creating content to engage with specific audiences and (3) using social media as information sources to develop network alertness. Moving beyond simply characterising social media engagement in terms of the speed and volume of social interactions, this study contributes to a more systematic examination of the concept as an enabler of organisational responsiveness.

The organizational capacity to cope with unexpected changes remains a fundamental challenge in strategy as global competition and technological innovation increase environmental uncertainty. Conventional strategy-making is often conceived as a sequential linear process where we see it as a non-linear interaction between top-down and bottom-up mechanisms dealing with multiple actions taken throughout the organization over time. It is driven by intension but with a flexible balance between centralized (planned) and decentralized (spontaneous) activities. We adopt the principles of complementary Yin-Yang elements and Zhong Yong balance to explain the time bound interaction between these opposing yet complementary strategy-making mechanisms where tradeoffs and synergies are balanced across hierarchical levels.

If assessment instruments are used to measure efficacy or effectiveness, for example of rehabilitation programmes, they have to be sensitive (or responsive) to change. However, up to now there has been no consensus on what coefficient should be used for this end. Various effect sizes and criterion measures are widely acknowledged; tests of inferential statistics are also still used. The different coefficients may well provide different rank ordering of competitive instruments. Recently, the so-called 'smallest real difference' (SRD) was proposed as a measure of sensitivity to change. In the original formulation, the SRD was defined as the 95% confidence limit of the standard error of measurement (SEM) of the difference scores. Conceptually this is equivalent to what is known as the 'reliable change index' in psychotherapy research. The absolute values of the SEM/SRD indicate measurement error. In our view, this is merely complementary to the reliability concept and not a measure of sensitivity to change. Instead, we suggest using the percentage of patients reaching the SRD criterion to compare the sensitivity to change of competitive instruments. In contrast to other sensitivity-to-change indices, such an approach takes the different reliabilities of competitive assessment instruments explicitly into account.

The research reported in this thesis was on "Impact of Service Quality on CS in an Airline Industry". The purpose of research was to study the service quality impact of Pakistani Airlines on the customer satisfaction and to suggest measures to accomplish it on better lines. The secondary data was collected by consultation of literature in the libraries and Internet. The primary data was gathered by floating questionnaires and conducting interviews. SPSS software was applied to analyze data for frequencies regression parameters and cross tabulation the results were interpreted by usual principles of statistics. The findings suggested that out of five Seroquel attributes, four of them have significant impact on customer satisfaction in Pakistan: tangibility, responsiveness, reliability and assurance. However, empathy does not have significant impact on customer satisfaction. Thus, Pakistanis are more concerned about flight safety, reliable staff, comfortable cabin seats and quick response to their queries and less concerned about individual attention by cabin crew.

Associated with global warming, climate change is perhaps the greatest threat to the survival of this planet. With appropriate climate change and toxic waste education and practicing opportunities in place, the exposure to both threats’ damages will be limited. Although the issues of climate change and plastic pollution are not recent developments, there have been little endeavors directed at scientifically recording the current situation in Ghana, particularly among the tertiary level students in Accra Metropolis. The result is that communities are still ignorant on these subjects and therefore do not adequately or effectively understand what climate change and plastic pollution are exactly and how alarming the threats they represent are to their societies. How can a disease be treated if the unwell does not even know about its existence? The need for such baseline information, especially as it concerns educating citizens on climate change and plastic pollution risks and designing adequate strategies for mitigating the effects on people’s lives and security cannot be overlooked. Attention should be paid in this regard and actions should be, if need be, over-emphasized.

Strategic communication is an emerging and evolving paradigm of communication. The role that it has
played in revolutionising communication and introducing sustainable purposeful communication has
resulted in a number of organisations and brands’ success. Brand resonance and corporate social
responsiveness are key concepts that encompass strategic communication because they place stakeholder
needs and emotions at the centre of all brand communication for the purpose of achieving organisational
objectives. The evolution of communication over the years has welcomed new mediums of communication
such as social media platforms. Social media has become an intrinsic part of disseminating brand
messages and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Social media content creators have a vital role in
ensuring that communication is relevant to stakeholders, especially consumers of the brand as well
maintaining the relevance of the brand. However, consumers are ever growing, evolving and multi
pluralistic, placing great pressure on social media content creation and brand alignment for organisations.
The study seeks to understand the perceptions of social media content creators guided by the theory of cocreation using q methodology as the guiding methodology that is characterised by its use for understanding
social perspectives of a particular topic. The study draws conclusions and address three research
objectives that look to add to the field of strategic communication

This is a volume of feminist analyses focusing anew on the concepts of resistance and vulnerability in light of two main aims: to think about feminist vocabularies of vulnerability and resistance as they develop through translation and the negotiation of regional differences (including the US, France, Serbia, Turkey, Cyprus, and Palestine); to provide a substantial alternative to some dominant conceptions of vulnerability and action that presuppose (and support) the idea that paternalism is the site of agency, and victimization, a condition of inaction. The wager of is that one reason why there is resistance to (even an outright denial of) vulnerability is that vulnerability has not been adequately tied to the practices of resistance. The volume brings to task notions such as responsiveness, permeability, plurality and performativity to articulate and explore the complex grid of discourses and practices that connect vulnerability to resistance. Questions of feminist agency are addressed through occupy movements and street politics, informal groups at checkpoints and barricades, practices of self-defense, hunger strikes, transgressive enactments of solidarity and mourning, infrastructural mobilizations, and aesthetic and erotic interventions into public space that mobilize memory and expose forms of power. While each chapter contends with forms of gendered violence and militarism, resilience, neoliberal governmentality, and political vulnerability, the overall challenge taken up by the contributors to the volume is to point to possible strategies for a feminist politics of connective engagements and to suggest an ethics of bodily resistance that does not disavow either relational or historico-political forms of vulnerability.

What explains electoral support for Islamist parties? Existing literature assesses the role of programmatic appeals, in the form of religious ideology and economic programs, but lacks the data needed to test the role of particularistic benefits. Drawing on an original survey of 1,202 Tunisians conducted in 2012, I test the role of programmatic and particularistic benefits in explaining voter choice in Tunisia’s 2011 Constituent Assembly and 2014 parliamentary elections. I argue that, due to its greater party organizational capacity, Ennahda provided more constituency service than other parties and was more successful in attracting new supporters by 2012 as a result. In 2011, Ennahda voters were more religious and more economically marginalized than non-Islamist voters. Yet by 2012, Ennahda developed a voter base drawn both from those who are ideologically committed to its religious program as well as those who requested constituency service from an Ennahda member. By showing that programmatic and particularistic appeals explain voter support for Islamist parties, this research extends the literature on Islam and politics and illustrates the importance of party capacity for developing a voter base in transitional contexts.

Social media are often regarded as a set of new communication practices which are likely, if deployed effectively, to make public sector organisations more responsive to the various stakeholders with whom they interact. In this context, responsiveness is usually approached as an administrative function of establishing additional channels of information and responding faster to citizen queries. Notwithstanding the importance of these objectives, this study aims to reconceptualise the relationship between social media and government responsiveness. Drawing on current literature and the case of the Food Standards Agency in the UK, the study identifies new dimensions of social media responsiveness. The findings of this study can provide useful insights both for researchers in the area and those in the process of developing social media strategies in government.

The customer always expects a potentially great service from any business deal. The evaluation of service quality becomes quintessential in understanding the effectiveness of the service provided by the trader. Keeping this aspect in mind, a micro study was conducted to analyze the impact of service quality on customers of Cauvery Motors Pvt. Ltd., Mangaluru, by using the SERVQUAL scale. Twenty-two items that involve all five service dimensions as prescribed by Parasuraman et al. (1988) were used to understand customer perception on service quality. On the basis of service dimensions viz., Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy, the responses were found to be satisfactory to the customers. Only the tangibility factor has to be worked on as there is more gap between expectation and perception. As per the calculation of weighted scores, there exists very little difference between the customer expectations and their perception regarding the service.

Anesthetic-induced changes in the neural activity of the brain have been recently utilized as a research model to investigate the neural mechanisms of phenomenal consciousness. However, the anesthesiologic definition of consciousness as "responsiveness to the environment" seems to sidestep the possibility that an unresponsive individual may have subjective experiences. The aim of the present study was to analyze subjective reports in sessions where sedation and the loss of responsiveness were induced by dexmedetomidine, propofol, sevoflurane or xenon in a nonsurgical experimental setting. After regaining responsiveness, participants recalled subjective experiences in almost 60% of sessions. During dexmedetomidine sessions, subjective experiences were associated with shallower "depth of sedation" as measured by an electroencephalography-derived anesthesia depth monitor. Results confirm that subjective experiences may occur during clinically defined unresponsiveness, and that studies aiming to investigate phenomenal consciousness under sedative and anesthetic effects should control the subjective state of unresponsive participants with post-recovery interviews.

At first sight, French nuclear energy policy offers a textbook example of how technical, constitutional and economic restrictions, powerful interest groups and path dependence constrain democratic responsiveness. This paper uses what might seem to be an unlikely case in order to question explanations of policy choices in terms of technocracy, path dependence and interest groups against the background of an under-estimated factor: party and coalition strategies. The original data collected on public attitudes towards nuclear energy and the attention dedicated to this issue in the media, as well as in the parliamentary and electoral arenas, show that the effect of public opinion is conditioned by party incentives to politicise the issue at stake. In other words, parties and coalition-making constraints act as a mediating variable between citizens’ preferences and policy choices. These findings point to the need to integrate this conditional variable into analyses of responsiveness and models of policymaking.

Anesthetic-induced changes in the neural activity of the brain have been recently utilized as a research model to investigate the neural mechanisms of phenomenal consciousness. However, the anesthesiologic definition of consciousness as ‘‘responsiveness to the environment’’ seems to sidestep the possibility that an unresponsive individual may have subjective experiences. The aim of the present studywas to analyze subjective reports in sessions where sedation and the loss of responsiveness were induced by dexmedetomidine, propofol, sevoflurane or xenon in a nonsurgical experimental setting. After regaining responsiveness, participants recalled subjective experiences in almost 60% of sessions. During dexmedetomidine sessions, subjective experiences were associated with shallower ‘‘depth of sedation’’ as measured by an electroencephalography-derived anesthesia depth monitor. Results confirm that subjective experiences may occur during clinically defined unresponsiveness, and that studi...

Attachment is one of the most important theories that has ever been produced in the field
of Psychology. It explains not only the relationship that a child has with its mother, but also how
a child is structured and developed into a psychic being. Understanding the Attachment Theory
helps elucidate how the interactions that take place in the parent-infant relationship impact the
rest of the child’s life by predicting the its neural, emotional, and social development. For this
reason, it is important to explain the foundation of this important relationship. This article reviews
some of the literature that, based on research from the fields of psychology, biology, and genetics,
shows evidence on how this special tie is founded on genetic and endocrine substrates that, in
interaction with the environment, function to create the expression of an individual.

Empirical studies reveal many citizens' unwillingness to get rid of representative democracy. A great number of them, however, distrust their representatives and would want representation to be improved, for example by giving citizens more control over their representatives. One possible mechanism of control is the recall-the possibility to remove elected representatives from office through a vote before the end of their term. Although this democratic tool is on the rise worldwide and was supported in the past by influential figures such as Rousseau and Marx, its study has been neglected by contemporary political theorists. The aim of this contribution is to identify the main arguments for and against the use of recall mechanisms, and to assess both their normative and empirical validity. In particular, it asks whether they have the capacity to improve the quality of representation or at least the perception of representative institutions' legitimacy, and answers with a moderate "yes"-especially for the latter aspect (perceived legitimacy).

Responsiveness and accountability constitute the process of democratic representation, reinforcing each other. Responsiveness asks elected representatives to adopt policies ex ante preferred by citizens, while accountability consists in the people's ex post sanctioning of the representatives based on the policy outcomes. However, the regulatory literature tends to interpret responsiveness narrowly between a regulator and regulatees: the regulator is responsive to regulatees' compliance without considering broader public needs and preferences. Democratic regulatory responsiveness requires that the regulator should be responsive to the people, not just regulatees. We address this theoretical gap by pointing out the perils of regulatory capture and advancing John Braithwaite's idea of tripartism as a remedy. We draw out two conditions of democratic regulatory responsiveness from Philip Selznick— comprehensiveness and proactiveness. Then we propose overlapping networked responsiveness based on indirect reciprocity among various stakeholders. This mechanism is the key to connecting regulatory responsiveness with accountability.

The main objective of this research is to assess the role of good governance in the health outcomes of the healthcare administration of public hospitals in Pakistan. The role of better public healthcare hospitals in the development of any country is an undeniable fact. The previous studies emphasized on such aspects that affect the performance of public healthcare hospitals performance, but the role of good governance and health outcomes have been ignored. This research examines the impact of good governance determinants such as accountability, equity, responsiveness, and transparency on the health outcomes of public healthcare hospitals. The current research applied a quantitative research method using cross-sectional survey design. A questionnaire was distributed to collect the data from 238 employees working in Pakistani public healthcare hospitals. The collected data was analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.7, a widely used data analytical tool. The results of the analysis showed that health outcomes have significant relationship with good governance determinants; equity, responsiveness, and transparency except accountability of public healthcare hospitals. The public healthcare administration at different levels is expected to enhance competencies of conducting high quality services, research and contribution to wider society through utilization of scarce resources and creating a good governance environment to maximize health outcomes from the available strength and opportunities and cope up with challenges. The findings and recommendations are expected to add value to the current body of literature in healthcare sector and particular value addition will be for the Pakistani public as well as private healthcare sector.

The following paper emphasizes the broad outline of application of consumer behavior especially in the area of marketing. Previously it was taken into consideration that the consumers are the end points of the overall selling- buying process. But through the years this rigid theory exists no more. The whole marketing concept now doesn’t complete by the selling point. It believes that the buying behavior of consumer is the threshold of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The buying behavior of the consumer is complex in nature since it is influenced by several other factors which are analyzed in the paper. The most critical factor is the Psychological factor of consumer which is again influenced by some key factors. A hypothesis is taken into consideration which states that: The consumer behavior rests on 4 broad factors: Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness and Assurance. The main limitation of such research work is to get the actual feedback of the consumers & record them accordingly. A case study is made on consumers of Airtel Telecom Services for this purpose and for testing the hypothesis , data has been collected from different customers of different age, sex, income & lifestyle group. The relevance of such testing lies in the fact that if the hypothesis is accepted that there is correlation, then this will lead to a long term relationship between the organization and the customers which in turn will lead to value addition to the organizations as well as the society as whole.

Sexual desire has long been theorized to serve a relationship-initiation function by bringing partners together. Four studies addressed this possibility, examining whether activation of the sexual system encouraged the enactment of non-sexual behaviors that signal warmth and contact-readiness. In Study 1, participants mimed together with an opposite-sex confederate to pre-recorded music. Participant's desire for confederate was associated with coded immediacy behaviors toward the confederate (e.g., proximity-seeking, eye contact, synchronization). Study 2 extended these findings, showing that participants, who slow danced with a confederate perceived to be more desirable, were more synchronized with the confederate. Synchronization, in turn, was associated with greater interest in future interactions with the confederate. Studies 3 and 4 established a causal connection between sexual activation and engagement in relationship-promoting behaviors (provision of responsiveness and help, respectively). These findings suggest that intense desire, which attracts new partners to each other, elicits behaviors that support the attachment-bonding process.
