- ~~~David Otunga did a big celebration as if he was the reason they won, so John Cena gave him an Attitude Adjustment!

- ~~Wade Barrett had said if he didn’t win John Cena would be fired, so Cena attacked Barrett so he would “win” by disqualification and keep his job.

- October 25, 2010 – RAW: Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel defeated David Otunga and John Cena to win the WWE tag team titles.
- ~~~David Otunga complained to Wade Barrett that John Cena was against him, and therefore could not co-exist as Tag Team champion.
- ~~~Barrett booked the match and forced Otunga to lay on his back and get pinned so they could keep the tag team titles inside of Nexus..
- ~~~MAIN EVENT: John Cena defeated Randy Orton by disqualification after Wade Barrett attacked Cena (same finish as the night before).
- ~~~The winner of the match got to pick the stipulation of the Orton/Barrett match at Survivor Series for the WWE championship.
- ~~~Wade Barrett chose to make John Cena the referee; if Barrett wins Cena is free, but if he loses Cena will be fired from WWE!
- November 1, 2010 – RAW: Randy Orton and R-Truth defeated Wade Barrett and David Otunga with special guest referee John Cena.
- November 8, 2010 – RAW: John Cena defeated David Otunga (Wade Barrett and Nexus went backstage so Otunga could prove himself).
- ~~~The Nexus defeated Team Orton in a Ten Man Tag Team Match with special guest referee John Cena.

- November 15, 2010 – Old School RAW: John Cena defeated Alex Riley (sub for The Miz) with an Attitude Adjustment and STF.
- ~~~Randy Orton tried to take out John Cena after the match, so the G.M. ordered them to go to Piper’s Pit with Rowdy Roddy Piper.
- ~~~Roddy Piper later did a Piper’s Pit with John Cena, Wade Barrett, and WWE champion Randy Orton to hype the Survivor Series.
- November 21, 2010 – Survivor Series: Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett with guest referee John Cena to retain the WWE Championship.
- ~~~The stipulation was that if Barrett won the title, John Cena would be free, but if Barrett lost, then Cena would be FIRED FROM WWE!
- ~~Wade Barrett hit Wasteland, but couldn’t get the win so he shoved John Cena – so Cena shoved Barrett into an RKO from Randy Orton!
- ~~~CONCLUSION: This meant that John Cena was fired from the WWE (in storyline) – so they did a pretend farewell to say good-bye. After the match, John Cena ripped off his Nexus armband and the Nexus ran down to attack him but he and Orton took them all out. The Nexus quickly retreated, along with their defeated leader. Cena presented Orton with the WWE championship belt and they hugged. The Cena-haters tried to start a “nah nah nah nah hey hey hey good bye” chant but it didn’t catch on. Orton had a quick celebration and left Cena in the ring. Cena soaked in the crowd response. The chanted “Cena! Cena! Cena!” and he saluted all four sides of the arena. Cena went over and hugged Michael Cole (but ignored Lawler and Striker) then slapped hands with fans at ringside. They gave Cena a farewell and pretended like he was fired from WWE legitimately. he went up to the stage and posed before walking through the arena high-fiving everybody he passed.

- November 22, 2010 – RAW: John Cena gave an “emotional farewell speech” and said “good-bye” to the WWE Universe.
- ~~~MAIN EVENT: Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett with help from “unemployed” John Cena to retain the WWE championship.
- John Cena was replaced on all WWE Live Events by his Mexican cousin “Juan Cena” (presumably John under a Lucha mask).
- November 28, 2010: Juan Cena debuted wearing jeans shorts, a purple mask, and billed at 108.86 kilos from West Newbarnia, Mexico.
- November 29, 2010 – King of the Ring: John Cena easily got past security and managed to take out Michael McGillicutty backstage.
- ~~~John Cena bought a ticket and did his best to distract The Nexus but eventually took out Heath Slater with an Attitude Adjustment!
- ~~~Wade Barrett went to the ring and called out John Cena, who only appeared on the big screen standing outside in the parking lot.
- ~~~The remaining members of Nexus showed up intending to attack John Cena, but he was protected by members of the WWE roster!
- December 6, 2010 – RAW: John Cena went after David Otunga at the hotel and continued with his mission to take out the Nexus.
- ~~~A “fan” (John Cena) distracted the Nexus and caused them to lose the WWE tag team titles to Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov.
- ~~~LATER: Wade Barrett called out John Cena and told him his tricks won’t work because he will NEVER rehire him in WWE.
- ~~~John Cena said he was happy hanging out with the fans every week and thinking of new ways to make the lives of the Nexus miserable!
- ~~~Nexus walked out on Barrett, allowing Cena to attack him! Nexus said Barrett would be kicked out of the group if he didn’t rehire Cena.
- December 13, 2010 – The Slammy Awards: John Cena won the “Holy **** Move of the Year” Award for his FU on Batista through a stage.
- ~~~Wade Barrett came out and accepted the award and then went to the ring to call out John Cena and finally announce his decision.
- ~~~Wade Barrett officially rehired John Cena.. The Nexus quickly attacked Cena while Barrett grabbed a chair and used it to bash Cena!
- ~~~SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long presented the “WWE Superstar of the Year” Slammy Award to John Cena!
- ~~~John Cena defeated Nexus member David “A-List” Otunga – (Nexus walked out allowing Cena to absolutely destroy Otunga!)
- December 18, 2010 – Tribute to the Troops: Randy Orton and John Cena and Rey Mysterio beat The Miz and Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio.
- December 19, 2010 – TLC PPV: John Cena defeated Wade Barrett in a “Chair” match then dumped a big load of chairs on top of him.

- December 20, 2010 – WWE RAW: John Cena defeated Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero in a Non-title match.
- ~~After the match, C.M. Punk left the commentary position and bashed John Cena with a chair before calmly walking out of the building.
- ~~~Backstage, C.M. Punk explained that “aggression” was the only thing Cena understands so he gave him a dose of his own medicine.
- December 21, 2010 – Tuesday Night SmackDown: John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero in a Handicap match.
- ~~~John Cena kissed Vickie on the lips and shoved her away before giving Dolph Ziggler an Attitude Adjustment for the victory!
- ~~~After the match, Vickie slapped Cena, so he picked her up for an AA but C.M. Punk assaulted Cena with a chair from behind.
- December 27, 2010 – RAW: C.M. Punk began the night promising John Cena that there would be a huge surprise in store for him tonight!
- ~~~LATER: John Cena was assaulted by Nexus (David Otunga and Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel and Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty).
- ~~C.M. Punk came out and sat down next to an unconscious Cena, before putting a Nexus armband on, signifying he was their new leader!

- January 17, 2011 – RAW: C.M. Punk defeated John Cena by disqualification when an unidentified assailant jumped in and kicked Punk in the face!
- ~~The monster then took out John Cena with a Rock Bottom.. The Nexus ran down to protect their leader, but Punk called them off.
- ~~The new guy dropped to his knee and raised his arm in the air, allowing Punk to place a Nexus arm-band so he could join the group.
- January 24, 2011 – RAW: C.M. Punk (w/The Nexus) vs. Wade Barrett (w/The Corre) ended in a Double disqualification with special referee John Cena.
- January 30, 2011 – Royal Rumble: John Cena entered the Royal Rumble at #22 and immediately eliminated four members of The Nexus!
- ~~~John Cena then made it to the Final Five, where he was illegally eliminated by The Miz (who wasn’t even a participant in the Rumble!)

- February 14, 2011 – RAW: C.M. Punk defeated John Cena after one member of Nexus hid under the ring and passed Punk a weapon.
- ~~~Later that night, John Cena helped Randy Orton fight off Nexus and got some revenge by giving Punk an Attitude Adjustment!
- LATER: The Rock was announced as the host of WrestleMania 27 and he cut a promo on John Cena (aka a big bowl of fruity pebbles).
- February 18, 2011 – SmackDown: Team #1 (the babyfaces) defeated Team #2 (the heels) in an Elimination Chamber Preview match.

- March 7, 2011 – RAW: The Miz posted on his social media that he was boycotting RAW due to not getting the recognition he deserves.

- March 11, 2011 – SmackDown: Michael Cole interviewed John Cena in the ring but was very rude, claiming the Miz finally shut Cena up!
- ~~~John Cena finally had enough and grabbed Cole.. Jack Swagger ran down and got tossed out of the ring trying to make the save.
- ~~~Cena then tried to give Cole an Attitude adjustment, but Swagger jumped back in and he ended up taking the Attitude Adjustment!

- March 14, 2011 – RAW: The Rock did a funny segment from home with a little kid dressed up like John Cena and also addressed the Miz.
